~The end of this blog~

So I started my blog when I was pregnant with Daniel 5 years ago.  Since that time more and more people I know have joined Facebook and I have gotten more and more into photography.  Now I pretty much post all my personal pictures there and talk about my life on there on a day to day basis.  So when thinking about this blog I am not sure what to post.  I do know I have family & friends not on Facebook that do read it (or at least they use to.)  So I always felt weird about just closing the blog.  But I really feel like that time has come.

But I decided to start a new blog with a little different direction.  http://juliethearmywife.blogspot.com

The theme of this blog is really Army living and my life as an Army wife vs a place to keep family & friends updated.

So join me on Facebook if you haven’t http://www.facebook.com/julieprovost and visit my newish blog :)

Back to Austria Pictures :)

Going back to Austria Trip pictures :)

We had such a fun time that week.

We got to see goats at a goat farm, played on playgrounds and had yummy ice cream.

Well the boys did, I always had Ice cream & coffee :)

~Brothers~

Boys Sept 2009September 23, 2009-169_edited-1 copy

Having TWO boys is quite an adventure.  They are silly, messy & full of energy.

Thank goodness Daddy will be home soon!  I can’t wait to see them all playing together again :)

As they get older they play more together.  At this point they are pretty good buddies.  They spent the whole summer together and even got to sleep in the same room.  Drew was so sad when Daniel had to get on that school bus.  But I think they are getting use to the new routine.  They will spend hours with their animals making up all kinds of stories.  It is a great thing to watch :)

Happy September!!!

Happy September!!!

Well we got back to Germany on Sept 2nd and now feel back to our regular German life.

It only took about a week for all of us to get back on German time.  Daniel went back to school and I started walking again.
We are counting down the days until Ben is back with us.

Until then I try to keep busy with things.  It can be hard on the weekends but the weeks seem to really fly by for me.

Here are some pictures from the last week or so…

Army Wife Prayer

Dear Lord,
Give me greatness of heart to see.
The difference between duty and his love for me.
Give me understanding so that I may know.
When duty calls him he must go.
Give me a task each day.
To fill the time when he’s away.
And Lord, when he’s in a foreign land.
Keep him safe in your loving hand.
And Lord, when deployment is so long,
Please stay with me and keep me strong.
Amen

Back in Germany

After a very long and stressful trip back to Germany (that I never want to repeat)  We are finally home!

Time to get the house more organized as we wait for Ben to return and then our upcoming move back to the USA!!!  I can’t wait :)

Day 3 ~ Yummy Coffee

This past week went by pretty fast.  We just kinda went out and did random stuff  but nothing too exciting!!! Should be with Ben really really soon.  I really can’t wait!!!

The fountains!!! We met my friend Christina and her kids to play in the fountains at the Irvine Spectrum! Lots of fun for the kids and a great way to cool off.

Day 1 ~ Playtime!

The boys love playing outside at Grandma’s house :)

New Project!!!

I am starting a new project and going to use it with this blog.  I will be doing another photo of the day project only this time  not just self-portraits.  That was fun but a lot of work.  So I will just be taking 1 photo during each day of whatever I want.  Then at the end I can make a nice photo book of the year :)
